As we celebrate Every Child Central Oregon’s (ECCO) fifth anniversary, we are filled with gratitude beyond words. What started in May 2019 has grown into a vibrant and essential force for good, and as we move into our sixth year, we are humbled by what we’ve accomplished—thanks to you!

Reflecting on 2024, it may not have been a year of glamour, but it was a year of remarkable progress and focused effort, intentionally crafted to ensure our long-term success. This year, we sharpened our focus on operational excellence, improving our capacity to serve more children and families in need.

Some of our most notable achievements this year include:

• The Warehouse
  Our spacious hub continues to be a beacon of hope. With a new inventory management system, we improved efficiency and could better anticipate needs, ensuring that families engaging with child welfare received tangible goods faster than ever.
• Expanded Partnerships
  We were thrilled to welcome new partners like KTVZ 21 Cares for Kids and the Deschutes Children’s Foundation, further strengthening our impact in the community.
• Growth of MyNeighbOR
  With new staff and processes, MyNeighbOR grew exponentially, tripling the number of children served in 2024 compared to 2023.
• Foster Appreciation Event
  Our first-ever event for foster families was a day of joy and connection, celebrating the strength of these families and the community supporting them.
• Foster Parents Night Out
  We expanded our respite care to Prineville, providing much-needed relief for foster parents in that area. We remain so appreciative of our partners—Mountain View Fellowship, Bend Church, Antioch Church, and Mountain Air—who have joined us in hosting respite care in Bend and Redmond.
• Wellness Wednesdays
  Listening to feedback from the Department of Human Services, we launched a new program to promote staff wellbeing and appreciation to lift up and wrap around its amazing crew.
• Holiday Gift-Giving Campaign
  With more businesses participating and individual donations given than in years past, this was, by far, our biggest, most successful campaign yet!

None of this would have been possible without the love, generosity, and dedication of our community partners, donors, volunteers, and the incredible ECCO staff. We are deeply grateful for all who have joined us on this journey and continue to do so. Together, we can achieve even greater things in the years ahead!
