Sponsor a Child’s Visit Today

At Brighter Side Giving Store, we want to provide the best experience for the kids who are shopping there. Time and time again, our shoppers come into the store hesitant and almost wary, expressing worries that they won’t find anything they like, and every time, they leave with a smile on their face, taking home items they LOVE. We want to maintain this positive, dignifying experience for our shoppers.

Because of this, we only accept new and like-new used clothing donations. We ask that clothing is clean, has no blemishes (stains, tears, pilling), and would be something a child or teen would like to wear! We can accept kids’ sizes 5t-18, and adult sizes XS-4XL.

Currently, Brighter Side is in need of:
– Fashionable tops for teen girls, women’s sizes SM – 4XL
– Teen boy t-shirts (graphic, name brand, and plain), men’s sizes SM – 4XL
– Cute tops for girls sizes 5T – 18 (XL)
– Boys’ graphic t-shirts sizes 5T – 18(XL)

Take a look at our wishlist for inspiration, or shop in-store and schedule a time with our Community Engagement Coordinator to drop off your clothing donation at our office:
379 Coburg Rd. Suite B
Eugene, OR 97401

Donation receipt provided upon request.

Connect with Us

Brighter Side Giving Store is maintained by our wonderful community of volunteers.

Stock room volunteers track and organize incoming donations and maintain our stock bins to ensure that store hosts have access to the clothing they need for shoppers.

Store host volunteers guide shoppers through the store and help them find clothing that fits their style. Store hosts must complete a background check and trauma-informed training to properly care for our shoppers. All store host volunteers are asked to volunteer in the stock room for at least 3 months prior to becoming a host.

Fill out our connect form to volunteer as an individual or with your group.
